The two greatest mind sports in one great set! Play Go on one side and Chess on the other. This full sized board can be separated into two halves for easy storage and is connected by strong magnets.

  • Wood board measures 18.9'' x 17.7'' x 0.6'' (48cm x 45cm x 1.5cm). Square size: 1.8'' (4.6cm).
  • King: 3.6'' (9.1cm). Queen: 3.3'' (8.2cm). Pawn: 2'' (5cm). Chessmen are wood with felt bottom.
  • 181 black and 180 white Go stones. Stones are double convex, size 33. They measure 9.2 mm thick by 21.5 mm wide.

I looked a while for a Chess and Go set together. I play Go and my son plays Chess. I got this for Christmas for my son so I could introduce him to the game of Go. It is a nice set. The board is in 2 pieces but holds well when it is together. The chess pieces are wood and are good quality. The only thing is, it should have a carrying case. That would be better then storing it in the box.
