This is a good shogi set for traveling, though there is no place outside the packing plastic to put pieces when they're not on the board. It would have been much better, in my opinion, if the inside was magnetic, or if the board extended past the squares. In addition, the pieces are a bit on the small side. However, for the price, it's a great set, definitely a must for the shogi fan on the go.
