Extremely disappointed. I believed for the listed price of $279 that I was purchasing a Quality set.
I looked at the photos of the tiles and absolutely loved the Plumeria on the white tile.
However, I received acrylic see through tiles with white on one side and acrylic on the other with a Plumeria.. Not engraved.
I had initialy reviewed the large photo of the white tile with a Plumeria, it is misleading.
After receiving my purchase I re-reviewed the photos wondering how I had made the mistake of ordering see through tiles and if you take another look at one of the smaller photos with the tiles placed on the rack you may be able to see that they are indeed acrylic tiles.
Please Look very closely.
Next : The rack/pushers are extremely cheap and seem plastic. Cheapens the nice tiles whether acrylic or white engraved. Poor quality.
This set doesn't even include a mat. Although, That is understood from the onset.
Wooden rack/pushers should have come with this tile set for this price This would have made it atleast nice and presentable set.
I purchased 166 Mahjong tiles.
However, The Included Mahjong Rule book rules are for only 152 tiles.
Extremely confusing.
Thankfully I had a coupon for a sale price. I believe that without a set of wooden rack/pushers that $279 with or without discount or coupon is NOT a worthy purchase.
I'm on the fence with going through the hassle of returning as I have seperatly purchased 2 mats to match this set that have already been delivered.
The Cary bag and cases are nice as advertised. I really like the color and quality of the bag and cases.
I am not satisfied.
With this explanation of my review, you may be able to make better choices.
Paid $224.70
Should have had wooden rack/pushers with this set for this price.
((Otherwise, one can just purchase tiles at Walmart it is much cheaper and with the same rack quality.))
