Tiles are more yellow than in pictures on website, bag is printed instead of woven/canvas as I’d assumed it would be. Tiles are large and painted wonderfully, and the set came nicely wrapped for transit.
The tiles are not as white as they appear on the website- almost yellowish. The magnetic wooden racks are definitely different than those I have used. Haven’t had a chance to use them much. Maybe once I get used to them it will be easier. Otherwise the quality is excellent and the set should last me till the end of my natural life.
Arrived quickly snd well wrapped to protect from damage. Just what i expected being new to the game of Mahjong. I ordered my mat and card separately.
I am very happy with the quality of the Blue Calico Mahjong set I ordered. I am also happy with the table cover. But the true sign is the numerous people who have asked where I got this set and have complimented it in multiple ways. The wooden pushers set it apart but every aspect has been praised.
Spare set for the summer getaway. Typical yellow mountain quality, well made. A couple of plastic bits (betting?) slightly disappointed on those. Still give preference to the aluminum cased sets.
