At $15 I was expecting a cheap plastic tray that would do the trick. But this board is solid and well constructed. Every little part well accounted for. Rubber feet that stand it up from surfaces and fold away into the board so it still folds nicely, the latch clip is very nice, the hinges sit flat so it can easily rest on the flattest side while storing it, magnets in the pieces are good and strong, and it comes with little hinged containers to keep the pieces in.
Just an absolutely fantastic set I've never been disappointed by YMI.

I have been a Yellow Mountain customer from before. I have a few different XIANG QI sets; I have been teaching it at the local chess club. I bought this set as a gift for one of the members who likes to play! I must say the gift was VERY well received! As for Yellow Mountain Imports, they ship PROMPTLY and everything is well packaged. I've ALWAYS been happy with their products & prices!
It was a good product, the plastic was of sturdy quality and was of good design, pieces where easy to read but rattled a bit. Would recommend
