I'm fairly new, and have been using this board for around a month now. It's wonderful. I love the sounds the stones and board make, and having a 13x13 on the back is good for me, as I'm still learning. Everywhere I look, I always see YMI goban being used, and now I see why!

Good quality and showed up in good condition. Probably going to order new stones just for the feel. Overall good buy!
The board is marvelous, and I love. Don't waste your time with the melamine double-convex stones though - they are nowhere near heavy enough, so that they wobble intolerably, and have too much shine. Half-convex would actually be much better, in melamine, for at least then they would not wobble....
Just getting into Go, I'd recommend this board. I got one from Amazon initially and was fairly disappointed with what I received, I ended up returning it. I followed up by spending the extra bit of money and purchasing this one. Pretty impressed with the quality and the traveling/storage cases. My only hope was that the etching was a bit deeper, but that may just be a personal preference.
