Great board

Got this one to replace an older, thinner folding board that warped. No defects; securely packaged to prevent damage in transit; comes with a nice felt envelope of sorts for carrying. Made from several pieces of wood rather than a single one but for the price that's fine--you can see the different grain patterns but you can't tell by running your fingers over the board. I don't expect to want another board for a long time, if ever.

You can't get a better board for $100

For $100, the goban is amazing. The only downside is that the board I got was made with 5 pieces of wood which is somewhat expected for the price. Also, the goban looks like it's thicker than 1.6 inches, 2-2.4 inches?

Wow!

This board is gorgeous! I've had a bamboo board for a while now and decided to upgrade to this. The sound is wonderfully resonant and the board itself has amazing grain patterns and a beautiful golden hue. After receiving this, I can't imagine ever needing to upgrade.
