Very impressed. I like the feel of the board and it’s nice to play on.
The Shin Kaya 1.6 inch Go board was a very good buy. It is very finely made and I am very happy with the quality of the board. I would highly recommend buying this board.
I bought this on sale to replace my 1.2 inch shin kaya table board and am very happy with the purchase. Its got a nice weight to it and has held up well so far. The included board sleeve is also a nice addition and helps keep it clean and scratch free when not in use.
I'm very happy with my purchase and am enjoying playing and studying on it. My board is made with 3 pieces of Shin Kaya. The grain of the wood is well matched between the pieces; it looks great and isn't distracting. The grid is nice and crisp. The color of the finish provides good contrast with both the white and black stones. I play with Korean glass stones; they look great on the board and sound nice when played. I'm glad I bought it and sure I'll get many enjoyable years of play with it.
Love it! Looks good, sounds good, and Labor Day sale was the cherry on top
